its inception in 1984, FAM&TS has been dedicated
to providing effective training and consulting support
in purchasing and contract management to federal agencies
and private enterprise. Such performance has been delivered
under hundreds of contracts and has taken FAM&TS
and its staff to most major cities in the United States,
and several foreign locations.

training philosophy and practice is to facilitate learning
by meaningful instruction, realistic application, and
real life examples. Having participated in the writing,
the award, and the management of a wide range of contracts
amounting to from a few thousand dollars to hundreds
of millions of dollars, real life examples are plentiful.
FAM&TS'
consulting philosophy is to provide its staff to become
an integral part of an operating team by bringing to
the team a wide range of tools that facilitate exchange
of ideas and the development of mechanisms to accomplish
to purpose and objectives of the team effort. In some
situations, the tools facilitate the development of
well-defined descriptions of the requirement, the identification
of performance standards, quality requirements, and
the means by which performance or delivery can be measured.
Other situations merely require input from the vast
body of knowledge of its team consultant or representative.
